Psychologist (Full-Time)

Clarity’s psychologists specialize in assessment and diagnosis of neurodevelopmental disorders, including specific learning disorders (including dyslexia and nonverbal learning disorder), ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, and intellectual disability, and in the development of recommendations for appropriate remediation of concerns. Clients served are usually preschool age to young adulthood.

A Doctoral Degree in Psychology with specific training in assessment of pediatric and adolescent neurodevelopmental disorders, including specific learning disorders, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, and intellectual disability and licensure through the SC LLR Board of Examiners in Psychology as a Psychologist is required.

Post-Doctoral Fellow in Psychology (Full-Time)

Under the supervision of a licensed psychologist, post-doctoral fellows in psychology provide comprehensive neuropsychological, psychological and/or psychoeducational evaluations of clients with referral concerns related to learning, behavioral, emotional, and/or social difficulties. Regular supervision and didactic training are provided to enhance the fellow’s expertise in assessment and diagnosis of neurodevelopmental disorders.

A Doctoral Degree in Psychology from APA-Accredited training program with specific training in assessment of pediatric and adolescent neurodevelopmental disorders, including specific learning disorders, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, and intellectual disability is required. In addition, completion of an APA-accredited predoctoral internship and acceptance of Preliminary Application for Licensure by the SC LLR Board of Psychology prior to start of Fellowship. Note, doctoral level school psychologists who completed predoctoral internships in school-based settings that were not APA-accredited will be considered on a case-by-case basis if approved by the SC LLR Board of Examiners in Psychology.

Psycho-Educational Specialist (Full-Time)

Clarity’s psycho-educational specialists specialize in assessment and diagnosis of neurodevelopmental disorders, including specific learning disorders (including dyslexia and nonverbal learning disorder), ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, and intellectual disability, and in the development of recommendations for appropriate remediation of concerns. Clients served are usually preschool age to young adulthood.

An Education Specialist degree (EdS; or the equivalent) or a Doctoral degree in School Psychology with specific training in assessment and diagnosis of pediatric and adolescent neurodevelopmental disorders, including specific learning disorders, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, and intellectual disability is required. In addition, licensure through the SC LLR Board of Examiners for Licensure of Professional Counselors, Marriage and Family Therapists, Addiction Counselors and Psycho-Educational Specialists as a Psycho-Educational Specialist and certification through the SC Department of Education as a School Psychologist II or School Psychologist III are required.
