Courtney was born and raised in Greenville, SC. She attended USC Upstate, where she received a bachelor’s degree in Experimental Psychology. She went on to receive her master’s degree in Clinical Counseling from Webster University in 2008. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S).
Courtney has extensive experience working with pediatric populations, particularly those with behavioral concerns. She spent many years working in psychiatric residential treatment facilities (PRTFs) and group homes (both as direct care staff and as a therapist) until she joined Clarity in 2019.
Courtney enjoys working with a variety of presenting issues and specializes in working with children on the autism spectrum, as well as children with behavioral concerns, ADHD, anxiety, and life adjustment issues. She loves to incorporate play in her sessions for all ages.
In her free time, Courtney enjoys spending time with her adult son, other family members, and friends. She enjoys playing card games, traveling, reading, and exploring new topics!
