Laura’s parents immigrated to the United States from Uruguay, so she grew up in a bilingual home in the suburbs of Atlanta. She graduated with a B.S. in Psychology, an M.A. in Educational Psychology, and a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology, with a concentration in School Psychology, from the University of Georgia
Given her background, Dr. Rogers has a passion for helping all individuals succeed in life, no matter what challenges they may face.
Laura’s heritage has sparked a love of travel that has taken her to 19 countries on 5 continents, many of which she has visited with her two favorite travel buddies, her husband and her big brother. In her spare time, Dr. Rogers enjoys learning about photography and honing her photography skills through her travel. She also loves to bake and believes there is no dessert more perfect than brownies and vanilla ice-cream.
